Visiting Author Spotlight - Lauren Tarshis

On November 18th, Lauren Tarshis will be visiting Meadowbrook! Lauren Tarshis is the award-winning author of the New York Times best-selling I Survived Series, and Editor-In-Chief of Scholastic's Magazines+. Lauren will speak to grades 3–5 at an assembly.  

Our Visiting Author Fund comes from the Meadowbrook Book Fair, March 9-12, 2026, and from our book sales. Every book sold helps support future author visits at Meadowbrook.

Please consider purchasing one or more of Lauren’s books for your child!  All books purchased will be personally signed by Lauren Tarshis and delivered to students’ cubbies during the week of her visit. The deadline to purchase Lauren's books through Meadowbrook’s online store will be Saturday, October 25. Please be sure to place your orders before then!
